Do any of these symptoms sound familiar to you during an anxiety or panic attack?
Dizzy spells.
Tightness in the throat or chest with shortness in breath.
Your heart begins to start racing with tingle sensations.
Worrying too much and thinking of unwanted issues.
A fear that something horrifying is about to happen soon.
One of the best ways to avoid a panic attack when you feel one is coming is by deep breathing and relaxation. Deep breathing is a very good way to relax yourself and make your body at ease. Getting rid of pressure and stress will allow you to avoid panic or anxiety attacks.
Another way to try and treat panic attacks is to avoid situations where they are most likely to occur. Sometimes its almost impossible to avoid a situation, but for instance if you have been in the heat for a very long time outside, you may start to feel dizzy and thus a symptom of a panic attack. So you can avoid this by not spending so much time in the heat or make sure you have a cold rag to put around your neck and drink lots of fluids. This was just a simple example of how you can avoid situations that may cause a panic attack.
